Baby's Story

Baby was a "pure blend" of beagle, terrier, and dachshund.  She was a sweet, sensitive dog with soft brown eyes who loved to cuddle and sleep on her favorite light green pillow.  She dug holes, jumped, and hid under blankets.

As an angel sent by God to help me heal, she had all the credentials and pedigrees I needed.   
   
On Valentine's Day 2008, Baby left this earth. Cradled in my arms, she was surrounded by friends Donna, Loretta, Pat, and Twyla. Baby was 16.

Baby's spirit lives on. She continues to heal the lives of all who read or hear the story of Holy Paws.

take a leisurely walk.
chase after rabbits & squirrels,
hide behind pillows or under covers,
follow me around the house,
sniff her food before she ate,
be pampered at the vet's,
sit on the stairs and get a morning rubdown from my husband, Marty
be in the sun, even if it meant being inside next to a window or glass door,
sit with her body pressed against my lower back as I ate
roll on the ground picking up the scent of other animals,   
walk along the backyard fence looking for critters to catch, and
to be “Babied."
